Family Literacy Day 2019 – Dufferin/St. Clair Library, Toronto

An amazing turnout for my Storytime and Craft morning at Dufferin/St. Clair – Toronto Public Library – on January 26, 2019. Moms, dads, grandparents and close to 20 energetic young readers braved the chilly -11 degrees C. temperature to participate in this fun, creative and interactive Family Literacy Day celebration. After reading from my picture books HIGH IN THE SKY and FOR NO REASON, the children had the opportunity to create a Kindness poster to take home. There were also free bookmarks and colouring pages. A huge thank you to the friendly librarians and staff of this bustling community library for inviting me to come and share my books with their neighbourhood families!
